DD79 – JOHNNY SHILO – I’D LIKE TO STRANGLE MY BOSS

As far back as Johnny can remember he has been passionate about entertaining. He was given a guitar at the young age of 11 by a local music store owner in Wagga Wagga NSW where he grew up and he taught himself to play music by ear. Johnny turned professional at the age 16 and played in several bands and he also played solo at a variety of functions such as Country Music Festivals, clubs, hotels, corporate and private functions and various other venues and still does to this very day.

Johnny loves what he does and it shows in his performance by his professionalism bringing heart to entertainment.

Johnny has a versatile vocal range spanning from the higher notes to his deep timbre tones and, blended with the experience of his rhythm guitar playing, he is proving to be a huge crowd pleaser in the country music scene all around Australia.

Johnny was given 5 unreleased songs to record, by various songwriters, one of which appealed to him, titled ‘I’D LIKE TO STRANGLE MY BOSS’. Written by DON WOODS, it debuted on the Tasmanian country music charts in July of this year climbing the charts for ten weeks and reaching the top ten.

This track is on his latest album, ‘ROCK ‘N’ ROLL COUNTRY’ which was recorded in Melbourne Vic.
