STANDLEY is well known for wearing his heart on his sleeve, something that shines through in his song-writing and performances. STANDLEY’s career, like MORRIS’, has been marked by incredible highs and lows. In a recent candid interview STANDLEY explained how serious mental health issues almost derailed his career. After years of silent struggle and constant misdiagnoses he was recently diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder.
“It was difficult to accept at first. It’s a life-long disorder requiring regular psychological support, self-monitoring and medication. Music is a big part of my recovery.”
In what is likely to be an Australian country radio first, STANDLEY will release 12 songs in 12 months.
