DD156 – CONNIE KIS ANDERSEN – FROM MY WINDOW TO THE FARTHEST STAR

No stranger to hard work, perseverance and passionate dreams of a career in music, CONNIE KIS ANDERSEN has defied industry paradigms by carving a successful music and radio career in Australia as a mature aged recording artist/singer songwriter. One of Western Australia’s finest; she has many hit songs to her credit and is the recipient of multiple awards in Australia for song writing and as an artist.

FROM MY WINDOW TO THE FARTHEST STAR, CONNIE KIS ANDERSEN’s inspirational song of faith and hope is now at radio in Australia. Lifted from her award-winning album: A CLOSER WALK, the track follows her previous Top 10 Hit; UNCLOUDED DAY, which was recently named Independent Single of the Year at the 2019 West Australian Country Music Awards presented by Livelighter.

The song, written by her good friend and mentor; DOUG WAYNE HOLMQUIST and his co-writer; MARK ELLIOT, speaks to faith and inspiration - something that Connie Kis has held on to very closely during recent personal challenges.

Available to radio as a download through CRS Publicity and Checked Label Services, the release comes on the eve of her tour to Nashville where she will be appearing as a guest of Joanne Cash and Pastor Harry Yates at Nashville Cowboy Church, performing at songwriter events as well as appearing on local radio. While in Music City, she will also be following her greatest passion – writing new material with like-minded, local songwriters.

Connie Kis returns to Australia mid-June to make preparations for an East Coast road trip in September which will also take in the Mildura Country Music Festival, and the Nambung Country Music Muster in November – two of her favourites.

She is available for interviews via the contact details below and will happily ‘call home’ to chat on air.

What's been said about A CLOSER WALK; “This album is probably the most beautiful Gospel album I have heard in the past 12 months and I highly recommend it to everyone – not just Gospel fans.”
