Ross McGregor – 10.000 Pieces

Central Coast (NSW) singer/musician, Ross McGregor released his latest independent artist album, Countrified back in January 2020. Produced by Simon Johnson, the album features the previous CRS single release If The Jukebox Disappeared which placed in the Top 10 on the National Country Songs Top 40 radio playlist chart.

Ross’s latest release, 10000 Pieces has a great up-tempo Bakersville feel, delivered in the style of Dwight Yoakam, with superb backing by renowned musician friends Brad Bergen, Simon Johnson, Duncan Toombs, Tomi Graso, Mick Albeck ,Vaughn Jones with harmony vocals by Brendan Radford.

Ross has previously worked with producer Simon Johnson on the production of his previous album Home On Christmas Day which features a re-recording of the title track featuring singer Kelly Hope on harmony vocal along with a new version of the previously recorded Bob Dylan classic Just Like A Woman with James Gillard providing seamless harmony. This album gained Ross McGregor a Top 10 “Traditional Country Album” Award, presented by LBS Musicland, during the 2019 Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Ross performs his country music shows with backing band (Brad Rose, Greg Franks, Tomi Graso, Richard Iles) at various venues around the Central Coast and the Hunter Region in addition to guest appearances at the Tamworth Country Music Festival along with the Tomkins Guitars Showcases held in Sydney at the Canterbury-Hurlestone Park RSL Club.
